GSK Discovery Fast Track Challenge 2015

GlaxoSmithKlein is opening the Discovery Fast Track Challenge 2015 and will be accepting proposals from 23 March to 24 April where they ask for one page non-confidential proposals on specific targets/pathways.

Successful applicants will then have their targets screened against the GSK compound collections with the aim of finding tool compounds that may become the starting points of future medicines.

For more details see below – there are the links to the websites and also some useful information and flyers.

GlaxoSmithKline – Discovery Fast Track Challenge
In previous years, more than 20 principal investigators from academic institutions throughout North America and Europe have earned the chance to collaborate with GSK through the Discovery Fast Track Challenge. I am pleased to announce that submissions for the 2015 Challenge will be accepted starting March 23. This is a great opportunity to gain access to GSK’s scientific resources and expertise-helping to turn novel drug development concepts into new medicines. Up to twelve principal investigators from U.S., Canadian or European research institutes, colleges or universities will be selected. If your concept is chosen, we’ll work together to discover new pharmacologically active molecules via High Throughput Screening and/or Encoded Library Technology. Successful results could lead to a partnership with GSK for the development of a new medicine. For details, or to submit a one-page non-confidential proposal, please visit
